The customizations can be made in physique, height, the color of the character. Players can use their creative minds and tools to build houses, characters, and control the characters as they desire.Ĭharacters can be customized with the help of Paramaker, which has sliders and colour wheel as the options. on other posters, flyers, book covers, street signs etc.The Paralives game is based on an open world with different events. Should there be a separate written paralanguage that appears e.g. On the topic of written language: From what we've seen, you can integrate word art in your own language into decór (like motivational posters). Should songs on the radio be translated into paraspeak? (if yes, can you think of any great candidates for conlang gibberish)? Should inspiration be taken from the most-spoken languages, or should the team give some more love to lesser-known languages? Which languages should paraspeak be based on? (I guess it would be impractical to try to make it as far removed from any existing language as possible if we don't just want to listen to otherwordly grunts and gargles). Simlish supposedly took inspiration from Filipino, Irish, Navajo and other languages. Should the paralanguage have a linguistic system and established phrases or should it just be random improvisations by the voice actors? Some questions that would be interesting to me: As someone who is a slut for languages, I am super interested in the process of how this language will be developed and I thought it could be fun to brainstorm different options here (plus, the Sims have done a reasonably good job on Simlish IMO so there aren't really any glaring shortcomings that would need correction). So we already know that paras will be speaking a gibberish language. to make this easier, Mabey have a shared bank account by certian people on the same lot? (also would make roommates a more realistic thing) deal with aggravated customers by being genuine/sarcastic and ect.Īnother thing it could include is separate bank accounts for sims in the same household and wills. Slack off, play on phone, suck up to boss, work hard, give/attended team meeting. Slack off, play on phone, play with toy, listen to teacher, be inquisitive, complete homework while in class, ditch class, make friends, bully, stand up to school bully and ect, If you didn't go with them could there just be similar presets like in the sims? (Ie: meet new paras, goof off, etc.) and have said modes affect needs/mood This could also be made as a form of later release to the game and/or dlc. Similar to how there is the sims 4 get to work DLC, and how sims 3 sometimes have you do optional interactive tasks like sending your kid on a field trip. I hope there is an optional interactivity when you send your para to school/work. Sr Executive Lab Coordinator - HiNanotech $77,000īenefits: para can get skill boost upon completion training modules, 1 extra sick day, free lunch Sr Executive Lab Coordinator - NitroLabs $90,000īenefits: para get skill boost each season, extra 2 vacation days, option to work from home Benefits wouldn't be any crazy but would add competition within the gameplay itself. So if a para didn't get a job with Company A or G, they could get the same job with company Z! It would be interesting if with each job listing there could be benefits tied to each company. Jobs could be listed with different company names attached to them just like in real life. But that's where multiple companies a paras could apply to would come into play. I know others would complain and say that's making the game more complicated than necessary. The more skills required for a job the harder the interviews could be to pass. I feel even if a para has skills theres the possibility they could not get a call back with an offer of employment. Should could be called for a interview, attend interview ( on that interview we as players would have some interaction to help the para or not), get a job offer or no job offer. Paras who apply for jobs who have proper education and skills. Jobs should have a dice roll nothing is certain. All that's needed are enough skills and you could easily apply and get hired. The job process seems to simple and easy in other simulation games. (I feel sims 3 may of had them or I could be remembering something else.? sims 2 prep school schmoozer. A cool idea I've personally not seen in sims or simulation game.
